Little Kitten

I just have to give a little preview of Olivia in her Halloween Costume, I took the picture and could not believe how grown up she looked! She is not standing for real, just balancing on the back of the couch, but that still is pretty good! She is a strong little kitten, and she has to be because of Claire!

YES, this is Claire's Face plastered in a DVD case!
Oh... and yet another little "issue" with the Claire, she is recently becoming quite violent, not to anyone but Me and Olivia, I look like scar from the Lion King right now because she took a DVD and launched it at my eyebrow.... so the help I am requesting is, How do all you moms out there disipline your children, my manual seems to be lost in the mail somewhere? I currently take her to her room, make her fold her arms and look at me in the eyes, apologize, and sit for a bit. We tell her Heavenly Father wouldn't want her to do that, but it just seems to be lost in translation to her. So aside from beating her, I do not know what to do? ANY SUGGESTIONS would be greatly appreciated!

Wow that's really cool/creepy that a 4 month old child is standing! I love the kitty costume... I wish I had bunny costume for Georgia. And you can not tell that Claire's face is squished, she still looks exactly the same to me.

I don't know what to tell you on Claire. She is to cute to be mad at. And Obib is a cute little kitty.

Wow Olivia looks so big standing. I had to look twice, I thought it was Claire.
I hear you on the throwing/mean thing, Connor is into that too lately. And I don't know what to do with him either!

Okay - Olivia can stand with a little help from the couch? That is amazing! She looks too cute in her kitty costume. I love little ones all dressed up!

As for Claire... I feel your pain. Cade can be quite the handful. I have found that consistency works with Cade. We have been doing time-outs for months now and they are finally starting to sink in and work... finally! Good luck! If you find something that works better - LET ME KNOW!

I don't know if this will work because she is still a bit young. We put tommy in the bathroom for time outs and try to stay consistent. After about 5 min or more for a worse crime :) then we go and talk to him about why he is in there. BTW, I about passed out when I saw olivia standing until I crolled down and read :) Her kitty costume is so cute!

That is such a darling Halloween custume! It's so fun to dress little kids up. Like a couple others have said, I think the key to discipline is for sure consistency. They have to know they'll receive the same punishment every time they do something wrong ... whether it be time out or a repentance bench or whatever.
