"YOU KNOW YOU ARE MISERABLE IF YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT YOUR BLESSING"
someone said that in their testimony today, and it really stayed with me. I love my blessings (i.e CHILDREN) , but sometimes they are trying
then I started Blog creeping, and I thought this was BRILLIANT, so I stole it from her blog... she must be a brilliant lady
Just a few things I am THANKFUL for...
a baby that is still waking up at night...-cause that means I HAVE a lil baby who has a healthy set of lungs and a huge appetite for ME (yea, he's pretty much obsessed with me)
my pre-baby jeans that still fit a little snug...-cause that means I obviously have enough food to eat
family and friends that live a million miles away....-cause that makes me appreciate them that much more and makes THEM miss us too! Not to mention all the gossip and drama I get to hear about but thankfully not be involved in -
a toddler who has NO interest whatsoever in ditching the diapers and moving up...-cause that means she can stay my baby girl for a little bit longer
a hubby who works way too much and way too late these days...-cause that means he has a good job during these tough times and he loves what he does
Dave left before we woke up and won't get home until we are all asleep. It makes me sad when he doesn't get to play with us fabulous girls... but I am sure that it makes him more sad.
Today I learned that.. if you have a two year old and a white floor, you wash it ATLEAST twice a day, if you have a two year old and a brown floor you should wash it ATLEAST once a day, but don't need too, because not everything shows up!!! For Christmas I want a brown kitchen floor!
Today Claire poured a whole bag of chips on the floor and then opened her juice cup and poured that on the floor to. She also pooped in her pants TWICE, and attacked my neck, was a TERROR in church and the DANG nursery won't keep her in there long enough for her to realize she may just like it. I left church early, cried to my Grandma and now that she is asleep I can laugh about it.

Aw Meagh, good for you for looking at things in a new way. I think we all need to change our perspective sometimes. What are you plans for Christmas? What is this family drama? Too bad I am missing out on that too. Who doesn't love a good drama. Love you
Meag! You had a long day, I have days that are extremely long and as soon as they go down for a nap, it makes me love them even more. Too watch a baby sleep is the most priceless thing ever. Love ya and Love your kids. Call me soon.
There ya go Meg, things can be positive! But I agree doing it all with Dave working so much would be hard. Dustin is my saving grace when he gets home. I sure love him and the huge help he is with the kids. He likes to work to but he makes sure to keep it balanced or I would probably go nuts. Well keep staying positive and blog about it, it's a great venting tool!
great post. things'll get better! you've got the right attitude... stay positive :)
that does sound like quite the day! I wish I was more 'thankful' sometimes. But I got ditched at church with the kids for my husband to go do snow removal and I still haven't seen him more then 5 minutes since and we are nearing the end of Monday here!! We had a long day too! It sounds like neither your life or mine is boring though and so I guess we should be thankful for that! We miss you!
So true, I guess I should be grateful for my muffin top because that means I have kids! I didn't know you guy moved, how's it going? Hope you have met some friends, that always makes a HUGE difference! Love you!
i can easily say that i enjoy reading your blog more than anything!! It is SO entertaining, and i love how you do it!!
I miss you guys so much, and your "washing the floor" thing reminded me that mines definitely due for a good wash (and brownish floors are nice, mine can go like a week and be "ok" looking still.
And i know what you mean about Dave being gone, during the summer thats pretty much how it is for 4 months straight with jordans working schedule! You sound like you are doing great though, you are so positive, i definitely need you to teach me how to be!
I absolutely love your blog. You always say what most of us think. I can tell you are the best mom. And, fabulous girls YOU ARE!
Awesome post. It definately made me think about all of the things that I should be thankful for every day. Hope you are doing well!
Cutest Post ever!! You crack me up, and at the same time I feel inspired to quit cursing my blessing too! So glad that we can still keep in touch through the blogosphere even though were far away.
