So Busy with the Same old!

We have been doing a lot lately around the house. Just nothing that is "blog worthy".

Is has been Bitterly Cold here in the Great White North, and one evening Dave actually attempted to chip all the ice off the drive way! It was about 6 inches thick in patches, and incredibly packed ice, but after about one hour with Dave's Muscle fueled with a little anger, the drive way was clean! Gotta Love the power of adreneline! But... then it snowed about 10 cm the next day and the drive way is no longer visible, we are really excited for spring/summer around here, and pray that it comes soon.

Claire ended up in the hospital yet again, this time she got into adult tylenol. I'll tell the story first hard, because I know that there are some variations of what really happened going around. I was putting laundry away on the top floor and after a few minutes realized how odd it was to not have a two year old at my feet helping out, I called her name and when I didn't get a response I ran down stairs, she had PUSHED a chair to the counter, CLIMBED onto the counter, REACHED over the microwave, and OPENED the child safe lid, (it was not sitting on my bedside table) and TAKEN maybe 3 or 4, she had spit a bunch of it out, but as a precaution we took her in, and after 5 hours of being hooked up, she was completly fine, she didn't have hardly anything in her system. It was scary, and now the medications are put away even higher, and in a case she cannot open! LESSON LEARNED

Dave's Parents came to visit just for this past weekend, it was a VERY quick trip but SO SO nice, it is so nice to have visitors, HINT HINT! ANYONE PLEASE! Olivia had a special bond with her Grandpa Purnell, and Claire loved getting to know her Grandma and Grandpa better. I know they loved seeing all their Grandchildren up here, and we wish that we could see them more often.

Olivia and Claire are hilarious together, and play all day long, Claire sometimes forgets that Olivia is just a little baby, and is a little rough, but all in all they are pretty good together. I think I am completely used to having two now, it may have been a little rough in the beginning with them so close, but now I wouldn't change a thing, they are such good friends and they really are the best company because Dave is gone so much.

Well I hear you on the cold and if I could come visit you I would and if you ever feel like coming to great old Fort Mac you are more than welcome too! ;) lol Anyways, you should call me sometime so we can catch up. It's been too long!

Meaghan, it's great to hear how things are going up there. I can't get over Olivia. She's changed even since you left here. I'm glad to hear that Claire is okay. She's a clever little one, isn't she? Keep posting.

i think that is funny about you and dave being even. thats how i am. if jeff buys something i have to match it for myself. its only fair right? although i think i spend more than he does. i would go pamper your self with that hundred bucks! tanning, facial, hair cut...you deserve it!

Oh Gosh! I can't believe Claire! I hadn't heard. My sis was just telling me about her friends daughter who got into purell, was acting a bit tipsy, so they had to rush her in. I had to laugh because I don't know if I would even know if Sophie had consumed alcohol, tylenol, or anything else. I'm just glad she's still with us. Glad that Claire is okay too. Hang in there!!
